In the Nave: How WARM Agency Is Turning a Poole Church into a World-Class Concert Hall

Cathedral building inside with the words Warm in the Nave

What happens when one of the UK’s most respected independent music agencies decides to host gigs in a church? You get In the Nave — a brand new concert series by WARM Agency that is transforming St Peter’s Church in Poole into one of the most atmospheric live music venues in Dorset.

For WARM, who have been championing artists for more than 25 years, it’s not just another event. It’s the natural next step in their mission to bring unforgettable live music experiences to audiences and to shine a light on Dorset as a cultural hub.

A Concert Series Like No Other

The idea is simple but powerful: take a historic church, add world-class performers, and let the natural acoustics do the rest. The series kicks off on Tuesday 12 August, with Annie & The Caldwells flying in from Mississippi, signed to David Byrne’s Luaka Bop label. That’s just the beginning — the lineup also includes The Staves, Tom Smith (Editors), Fionn Regan, Chartreuse, and Moreish Idols.

Picture spine-tingling harmonies bouncing off centuries-old stone walls, with atmospheric lighting turning a sacred space into something entirely new. In the Nave isn’t just another gig — it’s a full sensory experience.

Why Dorset? Why Now?

For WARM’s founder, basing the series in Dorset was about more than convenience. “Living on the coast gives me the headspace to focus and enjoy the work again,” they explain. After decades of relentless pace in London’s music scene, Dorset provides balance — and now it’s the setting for a project that could redefine how audiences experience live music here.

And Dorset needs it. While the county has no shortage of passionate musicians and grassroots collectives, larger touring acts often bypass the area due to a lack of venues. In the Nave bridges that gap by offering a stage worthy of international names, while still staying rooted in the local community.

A Legacy of Supporting Artists

In the Nave might be their newest venture, but WARM’s ethos hasn’t changed. For more than two decades they’ve repped artists across the UK, USA, Europe and beyond — always putting creativity and integrity first. “We have to love the artists we work with musically and personally,” they say.

“It’s about family, not just business.”

That artist-first approach is what makes a series like In the Nave possible. It’s more than a booking — it’s a showcase of everything WARM stands for: passion, originality and connection.

Looking Ahead

As the series grows, expect In the Nave to become one of Dorset’s defining cultural events. And with WARM’s track record, the mix of established names and fresh discoveries will keep audiences coming back for more.
